The Engaging Minds partnership has now begun the data collection phase for the project’s upcoming handbook on student retention and engagement.
Data is currently being collected in all four partner countries – Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Ireland. Through surveys, interviews, and local investigations, partners are gathering insights from students, teachers, and educational professionals to better understand the factors that influence student engagement, wellbeing, and retention in education.
The purpose of this phase is to build a strong evidence base for the handbook, ensuring that its recommendations are informed by both research and real experiences from schools and educational institutions across Europe.
By collecting data from different educational contexts, the partnership aims to identify both shared challenges and effective practices that can support students throughout their educational journey.
The findings from this work will contribute to the development of the Engaging Minds Handbook, which will provide practical tools and strategies for teachers, school leaders, and other educational practitioners.
We look forward to sharing more about the results of the data collection and the next stages of the project in the coming months.
